Plain unsweetened yogurt (cow’s milk) for babies

  • From 6 months
  • Allergen

You can introduce plain yogurt with no added sugar once your baby shows signs of being ready for solids, usually around 6 months. Cow’s milk isn’t recommended as a main drink before 12 months, but cultured dairy foods like yogurt can be offered earlier once your baby starts solids.

Yogurt made from cow’s milk provides protein, fat, and calcium.
