## 1. Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Feeding Start mobile application ("App", "we", "our").

By using the App, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.

## 2. Eligibility

The App is intended for adults, including parents and caregivers.

By using the App, you confirm that:

- you are at least 18 years old or otherwise legally able to accept these Terms;
- you provide information about children only if they are under your care or responsibility;
- the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

## 3. Description of the Service

The App provides tools and informational content related to:

- infant and child feeding;
- product introduction tracking;
- meal planning;
- recipes;
- product information;
- personalized recommendations based on user input;
- subscription-based access to paid features.

The App includes both free features and paid features available through subscription.

The App may display legal documents from the `profile_documents` catalog and may record acknowledgement of specific document versions.

## 4. Subscription

### 4.1 General

Some features require an active subscription.

Subscription plans may include monthly, multi-month, annual, trial, or other plans shown in the App or by the payment provider.

Subscription access is determined by the current subscription state stored for your account. If the subscription state is inactive, expired, revoked, on hold, or otherwise not active, paid features may be unavailable.

### 4.2 Billing

Google Play processes subscription purchases.

By purchasing a subscription, you agree that:

- payment processing is handled by the applicable payment provider;
- prices, taxes, billing period, renewal rules, trial conditions, cancellation, and refund rules may be defined by the payment provider;
- we do not store payment card numbers, card security codes, or full payment credentials in the App.

### 4.3 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.

For Google Play subscriptions:

- renewal is charged by Google Play;
- cancellation and subscription management are handled through Google Play.


### 4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription through the payment provider used for purchase.

After cancellation, access may remain available until the end of the paid period if the provider confirms that access should continue through that period.

Deleting the App from your device does not automatically cancel a subscription.

### 4.5 Trial

Some subscriptions may include a free or discounted trial.

Trial terms, duration, eligibility, conversion to paid subscription, and cancellation rules are defined by the payment provider and the plan shown at purchase.

After a trial ends, the subscription may convert to a paid subscription automatically unless canceled in time through the payment provider.

### 4.6 Refunds

Refunds are handled by the payment provider according to its rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

For Google Play purchases, refund requests and refund eligibility are handled through Google Play.

## 5. Account and Security

You are responsible for:

- maintaining access to your account;
- keeping your device secure;
- using supported sign-in and local security mechanisms correctly;
- ensuring that child-related data is entered only by a responsible adult.

The App may use local protection features such as PIN, pattern, biometric unlock, and encrypted personal data storage. You are responsible for keeping device-level access secure.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate account access if misuse, security abuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms is detected.

## 6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

- provide accurate and lawful information;
- use the App only for lawful purposes;
- not misuse the App or attempt to interfere with its operation;
- not attempt to bypass subscription checks or security mechanisms;
- not use the App in a way that harms the service, other users, payment systems, or backend infrastructure.

## 7. Health Disclaimer

The App provides informational content only.

The App:

- does not provide medical advice;
- is not a medical device or medical service;
- does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any disease or condition;
- does not replace a doctor, pediatrician, dietitian, allergist, or other qualified healthcare professional.

You are solely responsible for:

- decisions regarding feeding and child nutrition;
- interpretation and use of recommendations;
- checking ingredients, allergens, product suitability, and safety;
- consulting qualified professionals when needed.

If a child has allergies, medical conditions, feeding difficulties, growth concerns, or any other health issue, consult a qualified healthcare professional before relying on app content.

In case of an emergency or suspected severe allergic reaction, seek emergency medical help immediately.

## 8. Content and Availability

We aim to keep content useful and accurate, but we do not guarantee that all information is complete, current, error-free, or suitable for every child.

Recipes, product data, feeding plans, and recommendations may depend on user input and reference data. Incorrect or incomplete input may affect the output.

We may update, add, remove, limit, or change features, content, plans, prices, and availability from time to time.

The App may be unavailable because of maintenance, network issues, provider outages, backend problems, device limitations, or force majeure events.

## 9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

- use of the App is at your own risk;
- we are not responsible for decisions made based on App content;
- we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages;
- we are not responsible for payment provider outages, app store rules, device issues, network issues, or third-party service failures.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

## 10. Account Deletion and Termination

You may stop using the App at any time.

You may request account deletion through the App where available or by email.

Account deletion may include a recovery window before final anonymization or deletion, as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may restrict or terminate access if:

- these Terms are violated;
- misuse or abuse is detected;
- payment fraud or subscription abuse is detected;
- security or operational risk requires restriction.

Termination of account access does not automatically cancel an active subscription with a payment provider. You must cancel subscriptions through the payment provider where required.

## 11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When Terms change, we may update the document version and may request acknowledgement of the new version in the App.

Continued use of the App after updated Terms become available means you accept the updated Terms.

## 12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws and consumer protection rules that apply to your use of the App, your country of residence, the payment provider, and the distribution platform.

If a mandatory law gives you rights that cannot be limited by these Terms, those rights remain unaffected.
